A Bit About Me

Hey there, I am Forest, a high school student from Connecticut who loves to learn about the world we all live in. I am a part of the duel-diploma Global Studies Program that is organized by my school — it has given me countless opportunities to attend trips and hear speakers, all of which have bettered my knowledge of our world. All of my efforts to become the best global citizen I can has left me with more to explore, learn, and be curious about.

I have grown up on a farm which has taught me how to live with the land and the responsibility we all have to protect it. I value the relationships I have and the things I am passionate about: ultimate frisbee, photography, cooking, and traveling.

One of the most important lessons that I learned from my Father was to be present in the moment in life and in creating art. The learning process of making a mistake can be just as important as the final product. He was a visual artist who found a passion in creating. I have taken this driven attitude and applied it to my school work, my athletics, and my art. This portfolio acts as a showcase of these skills I have learned.
