The American Work Problem - Is It Normal to Hate Your Job?
We were given free reign to develop, research and create a product addressing a major theme in Global Studies. My detailed thesis-paper discussing issues facing American workers, touches upon the themes of technology, human sustainability and workers rights. I compare work culture in America to that in Europe to see the different approaches to managing employees and their productivity. As someone who is exploring potential career paths, it is important for me to understand the current state of what it looks like to work in a corporate America and what it may lack to provide to its people.
